Cathay View Park is the communitys private sports and leisure park. Traversing the 800 m long boulevard into the main entrance, one can experience breathtaking scenery covering an area of 75,000sqm. Within the park is a 13,000m² lake with meandering waterways, islands, numerous small inlets, and a beautiful stone bridge. The park also has a baseball diamond, tennis courts, basketball courts, and other recreational facilities, all designed to provide an atmosphere for fun and relaxation.

Main Street of Cathay View Courtyard Residences uses specially-treated stone materials in the laying of its pathways. Most houses have a small bridge leading over water canals running throughout the community. Coupled with picturesque pavilions sporadically located throughout the scenery, the ambiance is reminiscent of the ancient town of Lijiang.
